Another Firefox logo/icon

The standard FF logo is TMed and all that, and I always loved the OSX-style aquaish icon someone did (I don’t remember who), so I did a little work and came up with this for firefox.

Firefox icon

I’m going to work up an icon set and such soon too. And a new throbber. I hate that lame little spinner Firefox has.

Great job! I like it. Isn’t the f-letter a successor to e-letter? Anyway, looks more professional, more serious.

Simon Dorner is responsible for the OS X Mozilla logo.

Reminds me of Macromedia Flash logo.

Give it an orange tint and I think it will be fine.

What to you want to do with this logo by the way? Is this for building your own version of Firefox?

By the way, it’s nice to see that you are using Nucleus too.

Yes, let’s make Firefox look like a Macromedia product.

Thanks for remindingme who made the OSX icons, they’re delicious, and he deserves all the credit he can get. As for the purpose, I’m going to make an alternate iconset for Windows, and probably a new skin/theme for Firefox as well. When I finished, I noticed the similarity to Macromedia too, but the current generation of their icons is different, so I felt ok with the similarity.
