I heart the Steelers!!!!! I live in DC and was sad last night because I wasn’t in the SouthSide. 6 TIME CHAMPS, best franchise of all sports/all time!

NEVER under-estimate ANY player from the steelers.. they always pull through in the end!.. toughest schedule and number one defense proved that they deserved to be where they were last night!
HERE WE GO SIX-BURGH, HERE WE GO!!!

I live in DC, but grew up in the ‘burg during the ’70s, and have always been a Steelers Fan. I was in Pitttsgurgh for the game and had a great time sharing number six with all the Pittsburgh fans. It has been a lifetime of Championship moments for me. Starting with the 1960 Word Series, listening to game 7 in first grade, and going nuts when Maz hit the walk off HR to win it all. When I was in HS we bet not on whether the Steelers would win each week, but by how much they would beat the spread. Pittsburgh, the City of Champions.

This was a tough one to watch. I’ve lived in NJ for the past 40 yrs but grew up in PGH. Once a Steeler fan, always a Steeler fan. And yes, the “City of Champions ” started when Maz hit that homerun in 1960. I had the pleasure of walking over the bridge from the southside into the city at that time to enjoy the festivities. It was wild. You could walk into practically any bar downtown and get a free “Iron City” regardless of age.
