Searching for an mp3 of "Adagio ..." I found your website.
Regarding your music choice, it seems that you are an emotional person. In that case I can also recomment you the album Brave from Marillion. It is a complete story about a Runaway girl. See and hear for yourself at http://www.marillion.com and buy the album. It won't disappoint you!!!

i like listening to take 10, bossa lounge, contemporary classical on live365.com. the iranian station is "different", i like it. they should have more females singing. i think i heard the oud, really soulful lute like instrument from egypt.

probable reaction to this post: "nobody cares what you think. wtf are you talking about? that's pussy music, you are a zero, worse than a zero, you are a - .

(never forget the bauhaus school of design)

Ah, Adagio for Strings was used in Platoon; that's where I recognised it from (the version I had already is shorter, though, only 4:42). It's also one of my favourites.

I've also noticed what I'm pretty sure is a slightly _slower_ tempo variation used as the backing for the intro on a trance single (first track of CD2 of http://www.amazon.co.uk/exe... if you're interested), where it works surprisingly well, almost preferable to the original in some respects.

I'm not sure. I found both being hosted on the web, not via P2P. I'm sure both pieces of music are still under copyright, since the Zelda theme is inly 20 years old, and Samual Barber only passes away in 1981, so neither has expired. But I'm only linking them to give you a taste of the artists, as the other artists you've probably heard or at least know of, and can easily find samples elsewhere.

Speaking of legitimacy, what's the license on those linked MP3's? Are they freely redistributable?
